Meet Audra Diers of J Bar D Studios, Inc.

Audra, also an accomplished photographer, has been J Bar D's primary salesperson while she has been in school. Now with her Ph.D. in Organizational Communication--specializing in Image Development--nearly complete and work as a consultant and graphic designer, Audra offers the final piece to your marketing solution.

Audra is Gordy and Claire's only child. She was literally on horses before she could walk, then claimed Claire's Patchy's Geronimo (pictured in the jumping photo on Claire's page as well as below) or "Mo" as her own. When she started showing, Gordy and Claire gave her Give-Or-Take. The two would come to be an awesome team placing in the top 10 in the nation both in All-Around competition (competing and winning in 13 different events) and individual events. They were a team from the time Audra was three until she was 17.

Audra has been a part of J Bar D from day 1 as J Bar D's principal salesperson. Then in high school, she began taking portraits, reining, and roping photos--like her folks putting, putting in practice her knowledge of horses and the events. After graduating high school, Audra focused on education completing her Bachelor's degree in Speech Communication from Colorado State University, her Master's in Communication and Mass Media from the University of Wyoming, and is presently writing her dissertation to complete her Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin in Organizational Communication. While in school Audra was on the National Championship Lincoln Douglas Debate Team at Colorado State; ranked third in the country individually in Lincoln Douglas Debate; coached the 5th ranked Parliamentary Debate Team at the University of Wyoming; received two graduate fellowships from the University of Texas at Austin; and has presented her research in over 15 competitively selected papers at national and international conferences of communication scholars and professionals. Her research and debate experience has focused on message adaptation and creation, campaign development, and image development for companies and organizations. She has had the opportunity to consult for Fortune 500 Multinational Corporations, small businesses, as well as nonprofit and governmental organizations in areas of organizational assessment and development. For the last seven years while Audra has been working on her graduate education, she has also had the opportunity to teach--at the university level.

Audra recently decided to move home to Western Colorado and put her background in consulting, marketing/campaign development, her education, and experience in the horse industry to use with J Bar D. She has guided the re-design of J Bar D Studios, Inc., so that we can serve our clients as a Total Marketing Solution by re-designing J Bar D's offerings, building and maintaining websites, and consulting with our clients to help them market their horses more effectively. In addition to working with J Bar D Studios, Inc., Audra is also teaching at Mesa State College and is developing her consulting work in Colorado. When she has a few moments of spare time, Audra still enjoys riding. Though time has been too short in the last few years to show, Audra still enjoys riding and working with her Quarter Horse mare Mexicali Jewels--whom she has successfully shown in both Youth and Amateur Halter, Showmanship, Western and English Pleasure, Trail, Barrels, and Working Cow Horse.
